Privacy Policy for the “Cultural Heritage Protection” newsletter

Information to be provided pursuant to Article 13 of the Italian Legislative Decree n. 196/2003 - Personal Data Protection Code - and EU Regulation 679/2016 – General Data Protection Regulation - with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

The Cultural Heritage Protection newsletter is sent by e-mail to those who explicitly request it, by filling out the newsletter form and authorizing “Arma dei Carabinieri” to process their personal data. The provision of your personal data is optional; however, in the absence of data indicated as “compulsory” in the subscription form, it will not be possible to provide you with the service.

If you choose to provide us with your email address or any other personally identifiable information by filling the subscription form in this page, we will use it only to send you our newsletter or respond to your queries. If you choose to unsubscribe from the newsletter, you will stop receiving it

Your personal data will be processed with automated systems in compliance with the procedures indicated in the above-mentioned regulations and through the adoption of appropriate security measures in order to avoid data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

“Arma dei Carabinieri” is the data controller. The collected data will be processed exclusively by duly authorized categories of staff (“data processors”) appointed by the site owner. 
You have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence of your data and ask for their content or origin, verify their accuracy or request their integration, updating, rectification or cancellation (art. 15 and following of the above mentioned law).
The request has to be presented to the Data Protection Officer (rpd@carabinieri.it).

Interested parties who believe that the processing of their personal data through this service violates the above mentioned laws and regulations have the right to file a complaint to the Italian Data Protection Authority (see art. 77 and 79 of the EU Regulation).
